About The Position

DH Pace Door Service, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Door Technician based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role is intended for a technician with commercial door industry experience who can work autonomously and provide installation and repair services for a range of commercial door and door hardware products. The position offers a company truck and fuel, paid training, tool and boot allowances, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

At least two years of field experience.
Ability to safely lift up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work at heights and use a ladder.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Successful completion of required employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving-record check, if applicable, before hire.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

Install and/or repair commercial doors and door hardware, including roll-up (dock) doors, dock equipment, high-speed rolling doors, and commercial entry doors.
Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
Perform job duties in a safety-conscious manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
