About The Position
CNC Machinists operate various manual and/or CNC machines, including lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, and horizontal boring mills. Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate corrective actions. They also perform quality inspections and verify that workpiece dimensions meet drawing specifications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of CNC machining experience.
- Ability to understand written instructions.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work any shift.
Nice To Haves
- Prior mechanical experience, such as automotive repair, plant maintenance, or machinery installation or repair.
- Successful completion of a technical or vocational program in machining, diesel technology, automotive, HVAC, or mechanical studies.
