About The Position

The CNC Machinist works at a precision manufacturing facility producing precision components for the industrial equipment industry using advanced 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC equipment. The role involves tight-tolerance manufacturing, machine setup and operation, dimensional and visual quality checks, and troubleshooting to maintain stable production. The position is on third shift, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Compensation is $25 per hour plus a $1 shift differential. Requirements

• At least 2 years of CNC machining experience or recent graduation from a machining program.
• CNC setup experience.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Basic GD&T knowledge.
• Precision measuring experience.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability.
• Safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups and prepare machines for production.
• Operate multiple CNC machines throughout each shift.
• Verify parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Measure parts using precision inspection equipment.
• Make tool-wear and dimensional offsets as needed.
• Diagnose machining issues and maintain stable production.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
