About The Position
TheKey is hiring caregivers to provide one-to-one in-home care for aging adults. Caregivers help clients with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation, and companionship. TheKey describes itself as the largest provider of private-pay in-home care for aging seniors in North America and offers local team support, flexible schedules, training, and career development opportunities. Pay is $15.50–$17.00 per hour, with higher rates possible for extensive care needs. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, and all shifts are currently being hired.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- HCA registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey can help obtain registration upon hire.
- Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
- TB clearance or chest X-ray.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
- Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
- Provide companionship and social and emotional support through activities such as games and puzzles.
