Experienced Caregiver Per Diem
About The Position
The Arbors of Shelburne is seeking experienced caregivers to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The role is per diem, with openings across all shifts, and requires availability to work at least one weekend per month. Compensation is up to $26.50 per hour, with shift differentials and incentives. Caregivers assist residents with daily living needs, document care and report changes in residents’ health or behavior, engage residents in activities, and provide emotional support and meaningful care. Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license required.
- Availability to work at least one weekend per month.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
