Experienced Caregiver Per Diem
About The Position
The Arbors of Shelburne is hiring Experienced Caregivers to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. This is a per diem role with openings on all shifts. Associates must be available to work at least one weekend per month. Compensation is advertised at up to $26.50 per hour, with shift differentials and incentives. Caregivers assist residents with activities of daily living, document care and report changes in residents’ health or behavior, engage residents in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support. They use customer service skills to help ensure residents receive exceptional, meaningful care. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required.
- Must be available to work at least one weekend per month.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
