About The Position

Assisting Hands Deerfield is hiring an experienced caregiver to provide non-medical in-home care, including overnight coverage. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The posting lists 12-hour shifts available Monday through Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and offers an immediate start. Starting pay is $19.50 to $22 per hour. Hours over 40 and hours worked on holidays are paid at time and a half. The role includes weekly pay and 24/7 team support.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Comfort helping both male and female clients.
• Experience assisting with personal care.
• No restrictions concerning type of care.
• Experience with bedbound clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through conversation, games, and watching TV.
• Assist clients with showering and personal care.
• Help prevent falls.
• Prepare meals.
