About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician to perform a full range of automotive repairs and diagnostics on vehicles at its high-tech Inspection Center in Framingham, Massachusetts. Work ranges from light maintenance to complex repairs and heavy engine work, including repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles. The role is scheduled for the second shift, Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. Mandatory overtime may be required based on business needs. The position pays $26–$41 per hour based on experience level, with starting pay of $26 per hour. Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment and sometimes be exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Repair wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate control systems, including air conditioning systems and heater cores.
Perform a full range of automotive diagnostics and repairs, from light maintenance to heavy engine work.
