About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Experienced Automotive Technician to perform automotive repairs and diagnostics on vehicles at one of its high-tech Inspection Centers. The work ranges from light maintenance to complex repairs, including heavy engine work, advanced electrical diagnostics, and repairs to electric and hybrid vehicles. Carvana provides state-of-the-art tools and offers training programs for employees in entry-level positions.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes with exposure to excessive heat or cold.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
Role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Perform general and complex repairs on vehicles of all makes and models, including timing belts, suspension systems, and heavy engine work.
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including on electric and hybrid vehicles.
Repair wheel bearings and axles.
Repair vehicle climate control systems, including air conditioning and heater cores.
