About The Position

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides solutions across the asset life cycle, including licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, design capabilities, and asset optimization. The Expeditor administers, monitors, and tracks equipment and bulk-material procurements to ensure compliance with purchase-order terms and project schedules. The role expedites supplier deliverables and engineering data, coordinates with project teams and suppliers, maintains procurement records and reporting systems, and helps resolve material and delivery issues. It also supports invoice processing by confirming that contractual milestones and delivery requirements have been met, monitors supplier performance and schedule risks, and coordinates communication across suppliers, engineering, construction, and project controls. The position works under general supervision, with occasional direct supervision, and requires experience with EPC expediting, including LNG EPC projects.

Requirements

LNG EPC experience is required.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of EPC expediting experience or related industry experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to manage procurement, expediting, and project documentation.
Experience facilitating and leading project meetings and conference calls with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ability to analyze and resolve procurement and expediting challenges using EPC methodologies.
Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of EPC procurement and expediting practices.

Responsibilities

Administer, monitor, and track major equipment, minor equipment, and bulk-material procurements to ensure compliance with purchase-order terms, conditions, and project schedules.
Expedite supplier deliverables and engineering data to ensure timely submission, review, and return of documents needed to maintain project schedules.
Coordinate and conduct meetings with project teams, engineering personnel, and suppliers to review procurement and expediting progress.
Maintain detailed procurement files, records, and documentation for assigned purchase orders.
Update and maintain expediting status reports and procurement tracking systems.
Use IPMS and Documentum to monitor, track, and manage supplier data, drawings, and document workflows.
Collaborate with construction teams to resolve overages, shortages, damaged materials, and quarantined-equipment issues.
Support Accounts Payable by verifying contractual milestones and delivery requirements before invoice payment processing.
Monitor supplier performance and identify potential schedule risks, delays, or documentation issues.
Coordinate communication among suppliers, engineering, construction, and project controls throughout the procurement lifecycle.
Lead project meetings and conference calls to communicate status, resolve issues, and maintain schedules.
Monitor client-driven changes and update management on supply-chain status, procurement progress, and potential project impacts.
Analyze and resolve procurement and expediting challenges using industry best practices and EPC methodologies.
Identify process-improvement opportunities and enhance procurement and expediting workflows.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to less experienced team members as needed.
Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to align on procurement priorities, delivery schedules, and project requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, material delivery, and project schedule commitments.
Apply EPC procurement and expediting practices to support project execution.
