About The Position

Sayres is seeking an Executive Support Program Analyst with Secret Clearance in Washington, DC. This position is 5 days a week on site at Washington Navy Yard. The Executive Support Program Analyst serves as an integrated part of the operations team providing high level logistical and project support, and program assistance to the Program Manager (PM) and Deputy Program Manager (DPM) of a shipbuilding Program Office. The selected candidate will perform a full range of operational and strategic functions.

Requirements

College degree
Executive level Program Support 5+ years experience
Experience working within the front office of executive staff for US NAVY or other similar defense acquisition organizations.
Experience directly supporting (front office capacity) senior leadership staff.
Must possess strong organizational and time management skills; the ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact and communicate effectively with people at all levels including senior military and government officials, Congressional offices, and industry leaders; prompt and reliable attendance; highly self-motivated and resourceful with strong problem solving skills; exceptional attention to detail; and the ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to work effectively with a team of front office professionals including the ability to generate correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
Knowledge of administrative management practices and procedures and organizational techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of an integrated team and where the workload and priorities change quickly.
Exceptional command of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Active Secret security clearance verifiable in DISS prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

NAVSEA Experience preferred
Prior experience in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) within a Front Office/Operations team environment.
Experience working on-site at the Washington Navy Yard (WNY).
Preference Yeoman or equivalent

Responsibilities

Collaborate with program staff across the organization, Navy, and Department of Defense to ensure coordination, planning, execution, and support of a wide range of diverse engagements, meetings, and travel to support very demanding schedules.
Coordinate and manage program-related schedules using Microsoft Outlook Calendar, ensuring alignment of internal and external engagements such as program reviews, stakeholder meetings, conferences, and strategic briefings.
Assess and prioritize program activities to avoid scheduling conflicts and ensure efficient use of leadership time.
Support program leadership by preparing and delivering detailed briefing materials, gathering relevant data, and liaising with stakeholders to collect key information in advance.
Ensure all engagements are aligned with program goals, timelines, and strategic priorities.
Serve as a key point of contact for major program events and work alongside program office heads on program initiatives including PowerPoint brief development and other ad-hoc program efforts.
Draft the weekly report for PM/DPM to send to PEO.
Organizing all recent briefs on the share drive, MS Teams and One Drive.
Draft and QA for format all Power Point briefs to chain of command and external stakeholders.
Keeping internal action item tracker up to date and working with PAPMs/APMs to meet deadlines.
