About The Position

Anthropic is seeking a personal security program manager to support its Global Safety, Intelligence & Security (GSIS) function. This role is situated at the intersection of corporate security fundamentals and program management execution. The program manager will execute a defined portion of the policies, processes, and reporting necessary for the function to scale, operating within the scope set by their manager. They will also support cross-functional projects of low to moderate complexity. This role requires a solid understanding of security domain principles to work effectively with experienced practitioners, program management discipline for reliable execution, and good judgment for escalating issues appropriately. The primary focus will be on executing within established frameworks and identifying areas requiring higher-level decisions.

Requirements

Program management experience in or adjacent to the corporate/physical security domain.
Experience contributing to a personal security program or capability build in a high-growth environment, including documentation, playbooks, or training materials.
Working familiarity with at least one or two GSIS domains, with the speed and willingness to build fluency in others.
Experience supporting the development of policies, procedures, or documentation that held up under review.
Clear writing skills and the ability to document security concepts for both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Comfort executing against a defined scope and knowing when to escalate issues beyond that scope.
Understanding of Anthropic's mission and the unique security considerations associated with building frontier AI systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience working at an AI-focused organization, frontier technology company, or similarly high-growth, high-scrutiny environment.
Some operational exposure to a GSIS discipline (intelligence analysis, threat assessment, investigations, executive protection, or security operations center work).
Experience supporting an organization through a security audit, compliance exam, or diligence process.
Experience supporting a security program with a regional or multi-site footprint.

Responsibilities

Maintain the policy and procedure library for an assigned GSIS sub-domain, adhering to the framework set by the manager and flagging gaps rather than resolving them unilaterally.
Support the GSIS metrics and reporting framework for the assigned scope, including compiling operational health and status updates on a defined cadence.
Execute assigned tasks in the development of new capabilities under close direction from the Senior Manager or Lead, contributing to documentation and training materials.
Serve as the initial point of contact for lower-complexity stakeholder requests within the assigned domain, resolving issues directly when clear and escalating others with context.
Contribute to audit-ready documentation within the scope, following existing templates and standards.
Support cross-functional GSIS projects of low to moderate complexity, owning specific workstreams rather than the overall project scope, timeline, or stakeholder communication.
