About The Position

The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is seeking an Executive Program Manager to provide executive-level oversight, governance, and coordination for a significant airport terminal refurbishment project. This role serves as the principal Owner's Representative, reporting to the CEO, and is responsible for protecting Massport's operational, financial, technical, and long-term asset interests. The Project Executive will oversee the private company financing and execution of the project, monitor performance against contractual obligations, and manage decision-making through established governance channels. The role emphasizes owner-side assurance and accountability, acting as a central anchor balancing the interests of various stakeholders including bankers, design architects, engineers, and regulatory bodies. The Project Executive will also serve as an executive integrator across multiple Massport departments, ensuring operational requirements, agency standards, and long-term asset stewardship are incorporated throughout the project lifecycle. Initially, the role will establish the oversight framework and subsequently build, scale, and lead a dedicated internal staff of project managers, technical specialists, and commercial auditors.
