Executive Recruiter

Hut 8•Miami, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

Hut 8 is seeking an Executive Recruiter to focus on a critical growth function. The recruiter will proactively map the market, build a network of specialized talent, and design searches from the ground up rather than simply processing open requisitions. The role partners with leadership to translate business priorities into hiring plans, identify market constraints, and develop credible expertise in energy, power, and infrastructure talent markets. The recruiter will run multiple niche searches, engage candidates who are not actively applying, and guide them through the process to a successful close. The role also tracks talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity, and owns the candidate experience from first contact through offer. This position is based onsite five days a week at Hut 8’s corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida. Candidates must be based in Miami or willing to relocate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

  • Executive search experience recruiting specialized roles, at a search firm or in-house.
  • Experience speaking credibly about the talent market, not only sourcing from it.
  • Experience working directly with senior stakeholders, advising them, challenging unrealistic requirements, and maintaining their trust.
  • Ability to communicate precisely with different audiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work effectively with ambiguity.
  • Must be based in Miami or willing to relocate for the onsite role.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of where top energy talent is located, what motivates them, and how to engage them before they are actively looking.
  • Familiarity with the energy and power industry, along with curiosity to learn more.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to turn business priorities into hiring plans, flag talent constraints early, and challenge assumptions about scope, timing, and compensation based on market conditions.
  • Build and maintain a live network of specialized energy talent through strategic, proactive engagement.
  • Run multiple niche searches with rigor, quality, and urgency; identify and engage candidates who are not actively applying and lead them through the hiring process to a successful close.
  • Develop working knowledge of energy, power, and infrastructure markets to hold credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Track and share talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity to inform how Hut 8 positions itself.
  • Own the candidate experience from first contact through offer.
