About The Position

Valgorithm is a consulting firm specializing in AI-driven solutions, automation, and fractional services that help businesses streamline operations and scale efficiently. It partners with clients in healthcare and legal industries to optimize workflows, enhance compliance, and support strategic growth. The Executive & Operations Assistant supports the CEO and Director of Operations across client projects, internal initiatives, and team operations. The role also provides on-site office coverage and operations support at a healthcare client's office in Fort Lauderdale, a Medicare-enrolled durable medical equipment supply company. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, and communicates clearly and consistently. The position helps keep projects on track and gives leadership the visibility and support needed to focus on high-priority work. The role is hybrid, with on-site work at the Fort Lauderdale office Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. The position is an independent contractor role paying $20–$25 per hour, based on experience. The first 30 days focus on learning Valgorithm’s services, team, and tools; building a central project tracker; taking over incoming requests and end-of-day updates; and learning the healthcare client's office routines, patient documentation, EHR/EMR system, reports, and sales support. During days 31–60, the assistant is expected to manage daily follow-ups and draft client communications with minimal direction, independently cover the healthcare office, begin documentation checks and reports, and propose process improvements. By days 61–90, the assistant is expected to coordinate assigned clients and projects, fully own office coverage and recurring reports, and implement at least one process improvement or simple automation.
