Executive Operating Advisor
About The Position
We are a well-established plumbing company with approximately $2 million in annual revenue and are looking for an experienced leader who has already built and grown a successful plumbing or mechanical contracting business. This is not a typical management position. We're looking for someone who has actually been in the trenches—someone who has owned, operated, or led a plumbing company through significant growth and understands what it takes to build an organization rather than simply manage one. This position can be structured as: Part-time, Fractional Executive, Full-time, Consulting arrangement. Equity participation may be considered for the right individual.
Requirements
- Experience building and growing a successful plumbing or mechanical contracting business.
- Experience as a former Plumbing company owner or upper management.
- Recently retired but still wanting to work.
- Interested in mentoring and helping a small business grow.
Responsibilities
- Growing revenue from approximately $2 million to $5 million+.
- Hiring and developing field managers and office staff.
- Building systems and processes that allow the owner to step back from day-to-day operations.
- Improving profitability and productivity.
- Recruiting quality plumbers and technicians.
- Expanding into new markets and service offerings.
- Developing KPIs, dashboards, and accountability systems.
- Creating a culture that attracts and retains great employees.
