Requirements

  • Current undergraduate status/enrollment at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated communication, writing, and editing skills and familiarity with AP style.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential matters and information.
  • Candidates will also be evaluated on our core values of passion for mission, integrity, and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • English, Journalism and Mass Communications or related majors with a strong emphasis in writing and editing.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Draft routine correspondence for the UNF President and CEO.
  • Process incoming mail addressed to the UNF President and CEO, including scanning documents and logging incoming and outgoing correspondence into a database (AliCRM).
  • Update numerous tracking spreadsheets.
  • Format and print letters, envelopes, and mailing labels.
  • Execute printing tasks efficiently using Microsoft Office.
  • Provide general office support to the Executive Office team and, when time allows, to other foundation departments as needed.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
