Requirements

Associate's degree in hospitality or related field. Five (5) years previous housekeeping experience at a property with 400 rooms will be considered in lieu of education.
Prior general maintenance experience
Ability to perform job tasks of team members
Three (3) years housekeeping management experience

Nice To Haves

Preferred Associate's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Five years of housekeeping experience in a property with 400+ rooms may substitute for education requirements.
Three years of leadership experience within housekeeping operations.
General maintenance knowledge and experience.
Proven ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

Champion AAA Four Diamond cleanliness standards.
Build, mentor, and develop housekeeping and laundry team members.
Ensure guest rooms and hotel facilities remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee inventory management and purchasing.
Manage budgets and maintain cost-effective operations.
Handle facility issues, guest concerns, and operational challenges with confidence and professionalism.
Create and implement procedures that support efficiency and exceptional service.
Enforce and uphold AAA 4 Diamond cleanliness standards for all hotel sites.
Promote teamwork and inclusiveness, inspect quality of work for the housekeeping/laundry staff and oversee performance management.
Establish an organized, well implemented work detail for cleanliness throughout hotel rooms to ensure guests receive a clean environment.
Manage inventory and security of supplies for the housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry departments.
Research vendors and negotiate prices to obtain cost-efficient supply replenishment.
Maintain budget guidelines of hotel housekeeping and laundry departments and review invoices to ensure accurate pricing and items received.
Respond and resolve emergency facility issues involving safety and security.
Develop and implement procedures for the housekeeping/laundry departments.
Resolve customer, employee and management issues.
Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
