About The Position

The Executive Director of Housekeeping, Environmental Services, and Uniform Control provides overall leadership and strategic direction for all three departments. This role oversees and supports daily operations to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness, service excellence, and presentation are consistently maintained throughout the property. The Executive Director is responsible for developing and mentoring department leaders and team members through coaching, training, and performance management. This role involves driving operational efficiency, accountability, and superior guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong financial background with experience in managing yearly budget in excess of ten (10) million dollars.
  • At least five years of management experience working within the departments of Housekeeping, EVS, and Uniform in a hotel/casino environment.
  • Working knowledge in all aspects of the Union and Collective Bargaining Agreements and Hotel Operations Division.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, project management, and superior decision-making while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to establish guidelines for proper staffing to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least eight years in a similar housekeeping or other hotel services position.
  • At least five years of management experience in a hotel operations environment.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain a Driver’s License.
  • Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience with Hilton, Forbes Travel Guide, and AAA Standards.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Prior experience managing a workforce of at least 100 employees.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Asian Languages.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and operational performance of Housekeeping, Environmental Services, Laundry, and Uniform departments to maximize revenue opportunities and achieve profitability targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee the development, management, and control of departmental budgets, including labor and operating expenses, to ensure financial discipline and optimal profitability.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor operating policies, procedures, training programs, and staffing models to meet evolving business and guest service needs.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management initiatives to drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership readiness.
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional guest experiences within assigned departments, aligned with company service expectations.
  • Analyze and respond to guest feedback, internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and operational metrics to identify opportunities and implement continuous service improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards throughout resort facilities.
  • Participate in the research, evaluation, and implementation of new products, services, technologies, and operational processes to maintain a competitive advantage and anticipate changing guest needs within a dynamic hospitality and gaming environment.
  • Partner closely with Managers and Supervisors to develop team capability, leadership skills, and succession planning to build long-term bench strength.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support resort-wide initiatives and events.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
