About The Position

The Executive Director at Benchmark at Mt Pleasant manages the community’s budget and occupancy goals, maintains appropriate staffing levels, and drives customer service. The role leads the community’s operations and team, supports sales, and works to ensure the community runs effectively and efficiently. The position reports to the Regional Director of Operations and follows a Sunday-through-Thursday schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Three to five years of management or healthcare-related experience.
Experience in a managerial role responsible for multiple disciplines.
Budgeting and staffing experience.
Proficiency with Windows applications such as Excel and Outlook.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Ethical and honest, with a genuine interest in helping seniors live better and more comfortable lives.
Patient, understanding, and empathetic.

Nice To Haves

A degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, or Business is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the community’s budget and occupancy goals.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and drive overall customer service.
Authorize purchases, provide onsite sales support, and conduct monthly family meetings.
Participate in training and development of new employees and implement initiatives to improve community effectiveness and efficiency.
Review bills and statements.
Analyze revenue projections and make adjustments when revenue sources decrease.
Manage the Sales Director.
Network with outside referral sources, including hospital and rehabilitation personnel.
Qualify prospects financially using credit reports, bank statements, and other relevant information.
Review occupancy in relation to staffing.
Assist with hiring and recruitment.
Handle resident and family grievances.
