About The Position

The Executive Director oversees the overall management and day-to-day operations of the senior living community. The role leads community operations, revenue generation, staff development, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety, while fostering a culture focused on residents, families, and associates. The position is salaried and exempt, reports to the Regional Director of Operations, and pays $135,000–$140,000 yearly.

Requirements

College degree.
Administrator’s license or certification (LNHA).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to lead a team.
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, and Excel), and ability to learn new applications.

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership experience within the health care industry.
Demonstrated success in managing operating expenses.
Previous sales or business development experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business strategies to achieve operational and financial targets.
Manage compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
Communicate effectively, lead by example, and maintain careful attention to residents’ care and wellbeing.
Promote positive engagement among residents, associates, and family members through an open-door culture.
Set quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
Manage the community’s finances.
Perform human resources functions, including recruitment, associate development, and disciplinary action.
Lead sales and marketing activities to meet or exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
Provide occasional weekend coverage as Manager on Duty.
