The University of Texas at Austin is undertaking a once-in-a-generation transformation to build a world-class academic health system in Central Texas. Anchored by Dell Medical School and the growing UT Medicine clinical enterprise, this bold initiative is redefining how academic medicine delivers care, accelerates discovery, and prepares the next generation of healthcare leaders. As UT Medicine expands clinical operations and advances plans for a future state-of-the-art specialty hospital, the organization is building an integrated academic health system designed to combine innovative care delivery, cutting-edge research, operational excellence, and a deeply patient-centered approach to health. Within this rapidly evolving environment, UT Medicine is seeking an Executive Director, Supply Chain and Procurement to serve as the enterprise leader responsible for the strategic direction, governance, and operational performance of supply chain and procurement across the academic health system. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this leader will play a critical role in building and modernizing a highly integrated supply chain infrastructure that supports clinical, academic, and research operations while advancing operational resilience, financial stewardship, supplier strategy, and technology-enabled innovation across the enterprise.
