About The Position

Revolution Medicines is seeking a leader to own and evolve its Portfolio Systems and Intelligence capability as the company advances a growing oncology pipeline and faces important decisions about program advancement, resource allocation, and competitive positioning. The role ensures leaders have integrated data, insights, tools, and decision infrastructure to assess portfolio health, evaluate strategic trade-offs, and make high-quality portfolio decisions. Initially reporting to the SVP, Head of Program, Lifecycle, and Portfolio Strategy (PLPS), the Executive Director will be both a systems integrator and a strategic thought partner. The role partners closely with Information Technology to translate portfolio business requirements into scalable technology, data, and integration solutions. It also leads cross-portfolio analyses and strategy initiatives, strengthens connections between portfolio-level decisions and functional plans, and supports senior leadership and Board-level discussions with rigorous, integrated portfolio insights. This is a builder’s role for someone who can develop systems and capabilities while delivering practical outcomes. The position also helps maintain the operating model for Portfolio & Pipeline Strategy and identifies and implements improvements to portfolio management processes, capabilities, and tools.

  • Strong systems thinking and data fluency, including the ability to design or improve portfolio tracking tools and dashboards, work with structured data, and produce clear, decision-ready outputs from complex information.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with minimal supervision, balancing rigor with pragmatism and speed.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, including the ability to prepare and present materials for senior leadership, simplify complex topics, and build credibility with diverse stakeholders.
