Executive Director of Training and Leadership Development
About The Position
The Executive Director of Training and Leadership Development leads learning, leadership development, and workforce development across the YMCA of Middle TN. The role builds a culture of continuous learning and creates opportunities that support employee engagement, retention, and career development. The position designs and delivers learning experiences and leadership programs, partners with organizational leaders to identify development needs, and advises and coaches leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational growth. The stated schedule is Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed or as the role requires.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience developing and facilitating training programs, leadership development initiatives, or related learning experiences.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, with a passion for developing others.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead Association-wide training, leadership development, and workforce development initiatives.
- Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, leadership programs, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to identify development needs and create innovative learning solutions.
- Serve as a trusted coach and advisor, helping strengthen leadership effectiveness and organizational growth.
