Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this role provides analytic and reimbursement expertise to financial and operational reporting, key strategic initiatives, and other business ventures. The Executive Director leads an effective analytics and strategy team that supports CCHC’s ongoing strategic planning process, clinical program planning, and business development efforts. This position works closely with hospital COOs, clinical and operations directors to provide analytic insights to clinical programs, quality and PI initiatives. The role collaborates with senior management in Finance Operations, Revenue Cycle, Financial Planning, and Physician Practice Management to develop and execute reporting to evaluate programs and performance. The Executive Director works closely with IT to leverage data to promote progressive ways of thinking and facilitate alignment of the BI function to CCHC’s corporate strategy and broader business evolution. This role liaisons with IT leadership and external data system resources to ensure that technology enables analytic capabilities, and that data is highly reliable and accurate. The Executive Director creates and manages business intelligence systems to consolidate disparate financial, market, and operational databases. This role directs new processes for recurring reporting to the Board and Senior Management, and oversees quarterly, monthly, and daily external and internal reporting. The position recommends and institutes new processes to improve financial and statistical reporting, and the application of information technologies to business decision making. It provides market and medical staff assessments to Physician Practice Management in support of clinical planning and physician manpower planning. The Executive Director serves as CCHC BI executive sponsor for negotiation, administration, and upgrades for Strata Healthcare Solutions. This role provides project management leadership to large-scale analytic projects, as a primary component of business development activities. The Executive Director provides leadership and direction for departmental resources to achieve departmental goals, manages and develops staff, and is responsible for the administration of the department budget. This role works with a high degree of autonomy and makes decisions on a regular basis. The Executive Director maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of the latest trends in the healthcare industry in general and planning specifically. The role consistently provides service excellence to all patients, family members, visitors, volunteers, and co-workers. The Executive Director challenges current working practices, identifies process improvement opportunities, and presents recommendations and solutions to management.
