Executive Deskside Support Technician

About The Position

This role involves delivering world-class white glove support to executives, both onsite and remote, in a courteous and professional manner. The technician will develop strong relationships, inspire trust, and maintain confidentiality to understand and improve the executive-level experience. Responsibilities include advanced knowledge, support, and troubleshooting of AV, presentation, and teleconferencing equipment, contributing to the recommendation of new technologies, and independently resolving complex break-fix issues and troubleshooting user problems at the desktop or via phone support for remote customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, related work, or military experience
  • 2 years’ experience supporting a corporate, networked computer environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • 2-year or 4-year Degree or vocational training equivalent in CS or MIS.
  • 10 years of experience supporting a corporate networked computer environment, including: installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment; building, deploying and troubleshooting computers; Providing executive/VIP support
  • MCP, MSCE or A+ certifications
  • Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, O365 and Telephony equipment support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, and O365 support.
  • Experience supporting Telephony equipment.
  • Mac OS experience

Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class white glove support to all executives, onsite and remote, in a courteous professional manner
  • Develop solid relationships and demonstrate expert-level ability to inspire trust and maintain confidentiality to best support and improve executive-level needs to better understand how each individual operates and how to best support and improve their experience
  • Advanced Knowledge, Support, and Troubleshooting of AV, presentation, and teleconferencing equipment
  • Contributes to the recommendation of new technologies that will be beneficial to the company
  • Independently resolves complex, break-fix issues; troubleshoots user problems at the desktop or provides phone support to diagnose remote customer issues
