About The Position

Ready Set Rocket (A Sia Company) is seeking an Executive Creative Director (Managing Director) to set and steward the creative vision for the company. This leader will transform complex client challenges and ambitious ideas into compelling stories, distinctive creative platforms, and integrated work that resonates with audiences, drives meaningful outcomes, and earns industry recognition. This is a senior creative leadership role for an individual with extensive experience leading both copy and design, possessing strong conceptual thinking, narrative development skills, and the ability to identify the human story at the core of creative work. The ECD will oversee creative output across video, digital, social, paid media, campaigns, and experiences, ensuring all executions are tied to a clear idea and a cohesive story. The role involves operating as both a senior creative leader and a business partner, responsible for shaping the creative organization, guiding multidisciplinary teams, and leveraging creativity to enhance impact, differentiate Ready Set Rocket, and drive commercial growth. It is a hands-on leadership position requiring the ability to inspire teams, refine ideas and storytelling, construct and present persuasive creative narratives, command client interactions, and foster collaboration among creative, strategy, production, and media teams around a unified vision.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of creative experience within a full-service digital or integrated agency, including senior-level leadership overseeing both copy and design.
  • Proven experience operating as an Executive Creative Director or equivalent — leading integrated work, senior teams, and high-stakes client engagements.
  • Strong creative judgment across visual systems and storytelling, with the ability to set standards without hands-on execution.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, including ownership of creative staffing, project scoping, budgets, and contribution to agency growth.
  • Exceptional client presence and presentation skills, with experience selling bold ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Design, Advertising, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

  • Set and elevate RSR's creative vision, establishing a clear point of view on what makes an idea compelling, culturally relevant, and worthy of an audience’s attention.
  • Champion concept and storytelling across video, digital, social, paid media, campaigns, and experiences, ensuring the work has both emotional depth and measurable impact.
  • Lead and develop copy and design leadership, setting a consistently high creative bar while giving discipline leads the clarity, direction, and support to produce their strongest work.
  • Turn complex, technical, or institutional subject matter into accessible and compelling stories that connect with people and inspire action.
  • Shape persuasive creative narratives and presentations that bring ideas to life, build client confidence, and create momentum around ambitious work.
  • Use creativity as a growth lever by expanding client scopes, strengthening senior-level partnerships, and supporting new business wins.
  • Lead the Creative Department as a business unit, setting standards, shaping team structure, developing creative talent, and ensuring sustainable delivery and financial performance.
  • Strengthen RSR's position within Sia by demonstrating how powerful ideas and storytelling amplify consulting, strategy, and end-to-end client impact.
