About The Position

A growing construction firm is seeking an experienced Lead Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up projects and manage a team of project managers. The role requires strong leadership skills, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to keep complex projects moving efficiently from start to finish. The manager spends the majority of time on-site, with some office hours for coordination, and works with owners, clients, subcontractors, and project teams to drive successful project execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of legitimate general contractor construction experience on large-scale projects.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a high energy level.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
• Strong work ethic and leadership presence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of project managers.
• Oversee construction logistics and ensure compliance with contracts, specifications, and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and enforce quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to zoning laws, building codes, and environmental requirements.
• Spend the majority of time on-site, with some office hours for coordination.
• Maintain organized follow-up systems and drive projects forward.
• Communicate professionally with owners and clients.
• Apply appropriate pressure to subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Lead and build a strong project team with clear accountability.
