About The Position

Opal Collection is seeking an Executive Chef to lead its culinary team and shape the culinary direction of its resort operations. The role oversees kitchen operations, develops menus and culinary offerings, and delivers cuisine that reflects the resort’s quality and standards while creating memorable guest dining experiences. The position requires willingness to relocate to Naples, Clearwater, and/or Sarasota, and includes hands-on work with the kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Executive Chef works closely with regional leaders and in a corporate environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership position.
Strong leadership abilities and a demonstrated commitment to team development.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
A culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and a variety of cuisines.
Passion for creating exceptional food and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Willingness to relocate to Naples, Clearwater, and/or Sarasota.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee culinary operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in dishes served.
Create innovative menus and develop culinary offerings that enhance the guest dining experience.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate kitchen associates while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Work hands-on with the team.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
Monitor kitchen performance, food costs, inventory, and operational efficiency.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the culinary department.
Stay current with the culinary landscape and trends.
Work closely with regional leaders in a corporate environment.
