About The Position

We are seeking a driven and highly motivated professional to join our team as the Executive Chef; to oversee, develop, and grow the food program across our venues as we strive to be best in the world. Our ideal candidate should be passionate about creating the ultimate guest experience through the quality of the food, taking pride in the way it is served, and continually sourcing the best and most sustainable ingredients to take our food program to the next level, whilst supporting local distributors and challenging the supply chain as we strive to uphold our Gibbons standards. We are looking to build a team that provides a first-class experience for our guests and members as well as being an engine that places all potential guests into our Gibbons Wheel and guiding the company towards profitability and long-term success with a key focus in driving revenue.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role, with proven success managing multiple venues or outlets
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire and develop high-performing culinary teams across diverse locations
  • Hands-on expertise in menu development, food cost control, and inventory management to drive efficiency and profitability across all outlets
  • Excellent administrative and organizational abilities for overseeing complex kitchen operations and multi-site reporting
  • Meticulous attention to detail ensuring consistent food quality and presentation at every venue
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to thrive in fast-paced, evolving culinary environments
  • Exceptional communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff, FOH teams, and senior management across locations
  • Robust process management skills to establish and maintain operational standards and workflows system-wide

Nice To Haves

  • Red Seal certification or equivalent culinary training is a valuable asset

  • Continuously challenge and innovate supply chain processes, ensuring quality, sustainability, and value.
  • Stay ahead of industry food trends, adapting offerings to meet evolving guest preferences and elevate the Gibbons experience.
  • Manage budgeting and financial planning for labor and food costs, balancing operational efficiency with exceptional guest satisfaction.
