About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, GA. The Executive Chef 2 will support a team of frontline culinary associates and be responsible for all back of the house operations in retail, catering and patient services. This is a high impact, high visibility position that is responsible for enhancing our patient satisfaction and retail customer dining experience through culinary creativity, food presentation and overall leadership presence at this outstanding account.

Requirements

Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
2 years minimum management experience
2 years minimum functional experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
Servsafe certified
Working knowledge of HACCP
Experience with Health and Safety audits
Proficient in computer skills and report management experience
Working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC)

Nice To Haves

Certified Executive Chef (C.E.C.) a plus

Responsibilities

Maintaining high-volume kitchen operations, directing the preparation of meals in accordance with corporate programs and guidelines.
Oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product.
Directly manage retail, patient feeding, and catering chefs as well as purchasing and catering manager.
