About The Position

Opal Collection is seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to lead its culinary team and create memorable dining experiences for guests. The Executive Chef will shape the resort’s culinary direction, lead kitchen operations, inspire the team, and deliver cuisine reflecting the resort’s quality and standards. The role requires willingness to relocate to Naples, Clearwater, and/or Sarasota and includes hands-on work with the kitchen team in a dynamic hospitality and corporate environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Executive Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership position.
Strong leadership abilities and a demonstrated commitment to team development.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and a variety of cuisines.
Passion for creating exceptional food and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Willingness to relocate to Naples, Clearwater, and/or Sarasota.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee culinary operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and excellence in every dish served.
Create innovative menus and develop culinary offerings that enhance the guest dining experience.
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate kitchen associates while fostering a positive, collaborative work environment; work hands-on with the team.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
Monitor kitchen performance, food costs, inventory, and operational efficiency.
Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the culinary department.
Stay current with culinary trends.
Work closely with regional leaders and operate in a corporate environment.
