About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations at a healthcare account in Exeter, NH. In this role, you will oversee a dedicated team supporting both retail (cafeteria) and patient services, including an At Your Request (AYR) room service program. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative, hands-on chef who thrives in a team-oriented healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality culinary experiences that enhance patient and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Strong culinary background with experience in healthcare, contract dining, or upscale casual environments
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, develop, and engage a culinary team
  • Experience managing food production, menu execution, and kitchen operations in a high-volume setting
  • Knowledge of food cost controls, purchasing, inventory, and labor management principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a team-focused, healthcare environment
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain) and working knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years management experience
  • 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Sodexo or similar contract dining experience
  • 2+ years Executive Chef experience (healthcare or upscale casual background considered)

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily culinary operations across the cafeteria kitchen and patient tray line (AYR dining program)
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 9 culinary associates
  • Implement and standardize Sodexo culinary systems, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and workplace safety standards
  • Drive patient and customer satisfaction through high-quality food and service execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical teams, operations, and client stakeholders to enhance the overall dining experience
