About The Position

Exigo is seeking a highly strategic, proactive, and execution-oriented Executive Business Partner to support the CEO and COO in driving operational excellence, organizational alignment, and executive effectiveness across the business. This role serves as a trusted advisor, operational integrator, and strategic facilitator who enables the executive team to maximize impact, maintain focus on priorities, and accelerate company initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in high-growth environments, exercises exceptional judgment and discretion, and possesses the ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. This individual will act as an extension of the CEO and COO, ensuring priorities are aligned, communication flows effectively, and critical initiatives move forward with speed and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Communications, Operations or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience supporting senior executives in a professional services or corporate environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive support, business operations, strategy, consulting, or chief-of-staff type roles.
  • 5+ years of recent Government Contracting work – especially with USAF/USSF.
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with senior executives and leadership teams.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (Microsoft Office products to include Teams, and SharePoint, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, CAP).
  • Experience supporting C-level executives in Industry or with the Gov’t (O-6 and GO levels)
  • Background in business operations, strategic planning, or organizational development.
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives and executive communications.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and COO on company initiatives, operational priorities, and leadership effectiveness.
  • Help drive organizational alignment around strategic goals and executive priorities.
  • Prepare executive briefings, reports, presentations, and talking points for internal and external meetings.
  • Support executive decision-making through research, analysis, and synthesis of business information.
  • Shepherd critical corporate projects and federal market strategies from conception to execution, ensuring KPIs are established, monitored, and met across leadership teams.
  • Assist in identifying operational gaps, risks, and opportunities across the organization.
  • Partner with executive leadership and HR to design, optimize in the interview and evaluation architecture for incoming corporate leadership, key overhead staff, and strategic hires.
  • Drive cross-functional follow-through on executive initiatives and action items.
  • Coordinate strategic projects and ensure accountability across leadership teams.
  • Monitor key business priorities and proactively surface blockers, dependencies, and deadlines.
  • Facilitate executive meeting preparation, agendas, notes, and follow-up actions.
  • Partner with department leaders to improve communication, transparency, and execution consistency.
  • Act as a liaison between executive leadership and internal stakeholders.
  • Draft and refine executive communications, announcements, and organizational updates.
  • Support leadership cadence processes including all-hands meetings, leadership meetings, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to improve collaboration and alignment.
  • Maintain and publish the company Weekly Activity Report (WAR)and follow-up on actions in the WAR with various C-Staff personnel
  • Help optimize executive workflows, decision-making processes, and organizational systems.
  • Establish, document, and scale institutional knowledge by developing structured, repeatable playbooks and governance models for corporate operations.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning processes.
  • Assist in tracking company KPIs, operational metrics, and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate confidential and sensitive business matters with professionalism and discretion.
  • Lead ongoing process-mapping initiatives, leveraging automated project management tools and lean asynchronous workflows to optimize company-wide efficiency and reporting systems (including the optimization of the Weekly Activity Report/WAR cadence).
  • Design, implement, and champion initiatives that codify and scale the company's core values, ensuring a cohesive, high-performing culture across distributed regional footprints.
  • Anticipate executive needs and proactively provide solutions.
