About The Position

The Medical Group of ChristianaCare is seeking a highly experienced, poised, and proactive Executive Assistant to support executive-level leadership within our Medical Group. This is a high-visibility role requiring exceptional judgment, discretion, and professionalism, as well as demonstrated experience supporting C‑suite or chief-level executives in a complex, fast-paced organization. Based at our Nexus Drive location in Wilmington, Delaware, ChristianaCare Medical Group is a thriving network of community-based primary care and specialty practices dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. Our team includes more than 140 physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and caregivers who collaborate across Delaware and New Jersey to provide comprehensive services—from primary care to specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, OB/GYN, maternal-fetal medicine, and surgical care. Leveraging advanced technology and integrated electronic health records, we are committed to improving care coordination and achieving outstanding patient outcomes. The Medical Group | ChristianaCare Work Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8am - 4:30pm (2 days in office, 3 days remote or vice versa) No weekends or holidays

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Four years clerical or secretarial experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a program in secretarial science or related field preferred
  • Expertise in international travel is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative support to executive and chief-level Medical Group leaders
  • Manage complex and dynamic calendars, meetings, and priorities with precision and discretion
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, executive communications, and correspondence that reflect a high standard of professionalism
  • Serve as a primary liaison between executive leadership and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence by welcoming visitors, coordinating travel, and representing leadership in a polished, professional manner
  • Support operational and financial processes, including invoice processing, timekeeping, and budget tracking
  • Assist with special projects, strategic initiatives, and leadership priorities as assigned
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and best practices
