About The Position

We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business. We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our Strategic Finance & Treasury department , based in our New York, New York office .

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy.
  • Must be flexible to work overtime on short notification.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain Executive’s calendar of appointments, meetings, handle travel and entertainment, and coordinate related arrangements.
  • Anticipate and prepare meeting materials, charts and reports needed by Executive.
  • Tactfully handle inquiries and/or refer to appropriate party.
  • Review and answer mail and inquiries on own initiative and determine if Executive action is required.
  • Proofread and handle all printed materials for meetings and quarterly earnings calls. This will include building binders and distributing them to Senior Leadership.
  • Manage expense reports for travel and corporate credit cards.
  • Assist in onboarding process for new hires in each Executive’s organization.
  • Work with facilities to manage office spaces and ensure smooth transitions when new hires arrive or there are internal reorganizations.
  • Use various PC software packages such as spreadsheets, word processing, and graphics to produce high quality reports, presentations, or other documents.
  • Act as liaison between the Executive and his/her direct reports, as well as internal and external contacts.
  • Be familiar with HR and payroll and be able to field questions from your Executives regarding internal procedures.
  • Handle a wide variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions of the office.
  • Follow up with other departments to ensure that requests are carried out.
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining office supplies for the department.
  • Work with IT and facilities to ensure that office equipment works properly.
  • Coordinate repair requests with facilities and/or outside vendors.
  • Maintain records on all repairs and orders.
  • Assist department in special projects such as team events as requested by the Executives.
  • May provide support to manager’s direct reports.
