About The Position

If you answered YES to either of these questions, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team as an Executive Assistant! Being an Executive Assistant at Devereux PA Children’s Services (DPACS) has its advantages. This position provides you the opportunity to be an important team member within the Senior Leadership and Operational Teams. The position interacts with all levels of the Center and allows you to utilize high-level executive skills and project management. Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess and maintain valid driver's license.
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Previous paid experience in the capacity of Administrative Assistant, Events Coordinator, or other position with similar responsibilities - reporting to leadership level.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task, to maximize efficiency.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Database, and presentation software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Executive Director.
  • Read and respond to emails in a timely manner.
  • Schedule and attend meetings and document meeting minutes.
  • Support special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer support is provided to internal and external points of contact.
