About The Position

Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security. The Executive Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the CEO, acting as a key liaison between the CEO, other Executives, and Board of Managers/Advisors. This position involves coordinating schedules, arranging meetings, handling travel arrangements, and managing various administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the President's office.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated high level of confidentiality, independent judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Excellent grammar and punctuation skills.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and 8 plus years of relevant experience supporting Executive-level staff and Advisory Boards, OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the President's schedule and make appointments as required.
  • Manage and arrange meetings, including preparing agendas and transcribing meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate and arrange travel schedules and reservations for the President.
  • Prepare and code expense reports, compiling all supporting receipts.
  • Support budgets and actual costs reconciliation activities as required.
  • Generate presentation materials, web content, and other documentation for the President.
  • Maintain files and databases for tracking progress on projects within the department.
  • Greet scheduled visitors and escort them to the appropriate conference room.
  • Compose, process, and/or edit Word/Excel documents and correspondence as requested.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
  • Perform general office support duties such as filing, faxing, and copying.
  • Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.
