About The Position

UMB Institutional Banking encompasses the following areas: Corporate Trust, Specialty Trust & Agency Solutions, Fund Services, Institutional Custody, Capital Markets Division, Investor Solutions, Public Finance and Healthcare Services. It combines institutionally focused capabilities into one cohesive unit, serving the entire institutional marketplace from smaller correspondent banks and municipalities to the largest broker-dealers and fund companies in the United States. As our Executive Assistant, reporting to the EVP Directory depository sales and directory of Capital Markets Division of Depository Institutional Sales, you will provide administrative support to our Capital Markets Division team under general supervision of a highly complex, confidential, and responsible nature, which often requires interfacing with internal and external contacts requiring considerable initiative, discretion, and sense of urgency.

Requirements

  • You possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You have a minimum of four (4) years’ or relevant work experience in an administrative capacity.
  • You can demonstrate strong communication skills with sound knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
  • You can demonstrate an ability to effectively prioritize assignments and manage time/deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Use your time management skills to support the managing of calendars, travel and expense, ordering of supplies, processing invoices, regulatory reporting and new associate onboarding
  • Assists with telephone coverage, primarily calls regarding customers’ daily Fed Funds changes of extremely large dollar amounts and general department coverage.
  • Use your Microsoft office skills to consolidate material from multiple sources into client-ready documents, Powerpoint presentations and Visio workflows.
  • Monitor all supply needs for the KC division i.e. coffee, paper towels, plates and napkins ect…Also copy paper and misc other department supply needs.
