About The Position

Verge Labs is recruiting an Executive Assistant to support its CEO and executive office by owning day-to-day administrative, logistical, and operational work. The role goes beyond scheduling: the Executive Assistant is expected to understand priorities, anticipate needs, connect information, exercise sound judgment, and independently drive work to completion. Reporting to Verge’s VP Operations, the role is intended to absorb administrative, logistical, and operational work so the CEO can focus as much as possible on high-leverage work that only they can do. Responsibilities include scheduling and calendar management; meeting preparation; domestic and international business travel; inbox and light board management; routine, desk-based personal support; and broader operations tasks as workload and performance allow. The position is remote, with a requirement to overlap with Pacific time and attend annual company offsites.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of success in an Executive Assistant role supporting C-suite executives, founders, or similarly senior executives in highly dynamic environments.
  • Based in and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Located in the Pacific time zone or willing to adjust time zone to overlap with Pacific time.
  • Experience with and enthusiasm for remote work.
  • Willingness to travel to and participate in annual company offsites.
  • Strong IT skills, including comfort with standard packages such as Google Sheets and modern CRMs, and power use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude.
  • Ability to thrive amid uncertainty and frequently changing priorities.
  • Deep alignment with Verge Labs’ values.
  • Passion for making an impact on patients.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI, biotech/life science, or similar technical fields.

  • Provide light board management, including scheduling board meetings, assembling and circulating packets, and tracking post-meeting action items.
  • Provide routine, desk-based personal support, such as prescription refills, infrequent personal travel, and occasional ad hoc tasks.
  • Support broader operations tasks as workload and performance allow, including all-hands slides and contract and CRM management.
  • Anticipate needs, understand priorities, exercise sound judgment, and independently drive work to completion.
