About The Position

Temple University's Office of Enrollment Management is searching for an Executive Assistant. This position provides high-level administrative support to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and helps manage the day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Management office. Support includes daily and long-range management of the Vice President’s schedule; coordination of travel arrangements; preparation of materials for meetings and events; tracking and ordering supplies; and organizing and maintaining files and records. The Executive Assistant is also responsible for screening calls, welcoming visitors, and providing excellent customer service to all guests and stakeholders of the office. This administrative role will provide coordinated executive, operational, and administrative support across the Enrollment Management division. Cross-train team members to provide backup coverage and ensure continuity during peak periods and staff absences. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least four (4) years of directly related experience
  • Prior experience working with diverse populations.
  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals, internal and external to the University.
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters.
  • Must exercise considerable tact, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information while making decisions based on best practices and sound professional judgment.

  • Critical writing ability and excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of meetings, conversations, documents, personnel materials, and other sensitive matters pertaining to the work of the Vice President.
