About The Position

The Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) is seeking an Executive Assistant to the President/CEO. This role provides executive support and assistance in a one-on-one working relationship to the President/CEO. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the President’s time and schedule, and coordinates closely with the Chief of Staff to ensure timely completion of the President’s priorities. The Executive Assistant also organizes and coordinates executive outreach; oversees special projects; liaises with the Board of Directors; and, as needed, provides confidential support to the Chief of Staff and C Suite regarding labor relations, contract administration, and other sensitive matters. This is a hybrid position, requiring the Executive Assistant to be in the office on the days the President is present. The role demands a self-directed and motivated individual who enjoys achieving high-impact results and outcomes. The Executive Assistant will work independently on projects from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion. Occasional work outside of standard business hours may be required, pending the President’s schedule, and the ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to varied tasks.
