The OSU Board of Trustees is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Board Secretary and Events Coordinator. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, professional faculty position. The position is located on Oregon State’s beautiful, historic and state-of-the-art Corvallis campus. The position offers a unique opportunity to work where the many dimensions of Oregon State University's mission come together. From academics and research to student life, outreach and engagement, you'll gain a broad view of how diverse activities across the institution collectively advance the university's mission and goals while expanding your professional experience and advancing your career. Serving as the first point of contact with members of the university community and other stakeholders, this position requires diplomacy, respect for confidentiality, excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills and the ability to function effectively to meet deadlines and manage the demands of a high-profile environment. The successful candidate will bring a strong service orientation, exceptional administrative expertise, and event planning experience to a dynamic office that is evolving its practices to meet the needs of governance and collaboration.
