The Executive Assistant to the President is a full-time exempt position reporting directly to the President. The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner to the President, providing high-level executive support through sound judgment, discretion, and initiative. The position manages the day-to-day operations of the President’s Office, ensuring the efficient flow of information, coordinating executive priorities, supporting the governance responsibilities of the Board of Trustees, and enabling the President to effectively advance the mission and strategic priorities of the College. The Executive Assistant is responsible for ensuring the President’s Office operates efficiently, professionally, and responsively, serving as the central point of coordination for executive operations, governance support, executive communications, and presidential initiatives. The position exercises a high degree of independent judgment, manages highly confidential and sensitive information, anticipates executive needs, and develops collaborative working relationships with trustees, faculty, staff, students, elected officials, community partners, and members of the public. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position working 40 hours per week, onsite at the Mount Vernon, WA campus.
