About The Position

Assists Chief Financial Officer in all daily activities. Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures. Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies. Expected to be a proactive, team player.

Requirements

  • High School/GED required
  • Typing of 45 WPM minimum
  • Strong Microsoft WORD and EXCEL skills
  • Ability to use independent judgment and make decisions
  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal, including strong business writing skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge of business etiquette
  • Must be detail oriented, professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Employees must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, consisting of the ability to write and speak effectively to others
  • Employees must be a productive team player, with the ability to learn, apply training and comprehend policies and procedures
  • Employees should also be flexible to changing working situations and able to meet deadlines as they arise
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working at a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment
  • Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with clients, team members, and vendors via phone, video, and in person
  • Visual acuity sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents, and financial data
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10–15 pounds occasionally (e.g., files, office supplies)

Nice To Haves

  • College preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience
  • experience supporting an executive preferred
  • Banking experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones, maintain calendar, schedule meetings and maintain to do lists.
  • Create and maintain various reports as needed.
  • Attend meetings as specified and keep minutes, if needed.
  • Coordinate travel when needed.
  • Maintain records and assist with audits and coordinate related responses.
  • Facilitate monthly meetings as needed, prepare agendas.
  • Assist in the ordering of office supplies for the department and distributing department mail.
  • Assist with project management (including, but not limited to mergers and acquisition, product implementation, etc.).
  • File and organize project and committee materials.
  • Track and report personnel goals and metrics.
  • Prepare and file expense reports.
  • Coordinate document retention.
  • Make independent decisions as requested by the Chief Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer.
  • Help support the Bank’s accounting function, as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
