This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII Mission Technologies is seeking a motivated and experienced Executive Administrator and Project Coordinator to help support our new mission in Springfield, VA. This role will be supporting our team with various duties and assignments as well as support the effort to optimize organization procedures for administrative efficiency and productivity. This role is 100% onsite at the Springfield, Va location.

Requirements

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • TS/SCI required at time of hire with the ability to obtain a Poly.

Responsibilities

  • Track the on-boarding and off-boarding of personnel
  • Manage information within directorate folder structures
  • Support official travel within the Defense Travel System for supported customers (planning, logistics, coordination and visit requests)
  • Capture notes, actions and meeting minutes
  • Manage calendars for supported customers and assigned resources (conference rooms)
  • Coordinate meetings
  • Draft, route and track correspondence packages
  • Draft communications for the assigned directorate
  • Managed content and data entry on the assigned directorates collaboration sites
  • Document directorate policies, standard office procedures, action plans and processes
  • Track initiatives and report the status of directorate-level milestones
  • Support the development of executive briefs
  • Coordinate award submissions for military and civilian personnel
  • Capture directorate-level metrics and key performance indicators
  • Schedule and host periodic project status reviews
  • Coordinate and schedule directorate-sponsored seminars, red team reviews and staff meetings
  • Collect and document the status of meeting outcomes, action items and task assignments
