About The Position

The Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) is seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide dedicated administrative support to three senior leaders: a Senior Vice President and two Vice Presidents. This role is for an individual who takes pride in managing complex schedules, anticipating needs, and ensuring smooth operations. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for coordinating schedules, travel, meetings, and division operations, allowing the executives to focus on their core responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, naturally organized, and finds satisfaction in the craft of administrative support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three or more years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple calendars and competing demands.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to catch errors.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities for three different leaders without losing composure.
  • Naturally organized with effective systems and habits.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college coursework in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience supporting more than one executive at a time.
  • Background in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars and scheduling for three senior leaders, juggling competing priorities with patience and precision.
  • Coordinate travel, from booking to reimbursement documentation, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Organize meetings, from logistics and agendas to materials and follow-up.
  • Keep division operations running smoothly, including recurring meetings, shared calendars, and reimbursement processing for outside partners and consultants.
  • Handle procurement and office logistics, including business cards, name badges, and office supplies.
  • Serve as a welcoming first point of contact, providing backup support for visitors and front-office needs.
