About The Position

You will report to the Chief Trading Officer and work closely with internal teams as you engage in a range of trade execution tasks. You will be expected to take initiative, bring new ideas and invest your time in refining your knowledge of the various products and trade workflows.

Requirements

  • New York City based
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a buy-side FX trade execution function
  • Strong knowledge of FX market trading and liquidity dynamics around OTC FX Spot, Forwards and NDF’s
  • Investment Management Certificate, relevant US regulatory registrations (e.g. FINRA Series 7/63 and/or NFA Series 3)
  • An understanding of OMS functionality
  • An understanding of EMS functionalities (preferably FX Connect & BidFX)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Familiarity with TCA
  • Experienced user of Bloomberg
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable with all modes of communication and clarity in delivery of message
  • An enthusiastic interest to learn
  • Flexibility with regard to varied working patterns
  • A good collaborative approach

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the oversight and execution of foreign exchange and money market products, on a continuous basis
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure best execution by monitoring market liquidity, pricing, spreads, and counterparty performance
  • Provide updates of market liquidity and macro themes
  • Perform and review daily transaction cost analysis (TCA) to determine means of improvement to the execution process by highlighting thematic trends
  • Assist in the creation and evolution of reports pertaining to best execution, marketing, execution analytics and TCA
  • Research various execution topics for validation or rejection of pertinent themes including: Contributing to projects: Operational efficiencies/risk reduction, New products
  • Communicate with electronic and voice sales and traders at our growing panel of FX liquidity providers
  • Build and grow relationships with liquidity providers, especially with US desks
