About The Position

We're building a centralized quant research team and need an execution quant to own execution quality end-to-end. This is a ground-floor opportunity, you'll establish reporting infrastructure, develop signals that cut trading costs, analyze execution reports to identify poor trades and execution quality issues, build signals to improve execution performance, covering order-specific metrics and toxicity analysis, establish execution reporting infrastructure from the ground up, perform low-latency order book analysis to optimize execution across global markets, continuously review execution data to uncover areas of improvement, and collaborate with trading teams and data engineering to improve infrastructure and execution controls. This role also involves pre- and post-trade transaction cost analysis (TCA) to benchmark execution performance and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong command of execution signals and low-latency order book analysis
  • Proven experience building execution models
  • Background in prop trading ideally in equities or currencies (trading side, not risk) futures also considered
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one low-level language (Rust, C++, or Java)
  • Degree in physics, math, statistics, econometrics, or computer science
  • Experience at growth-stage firms
  • Builder mentality: comfortable establishing infrastructure
  • Willing to work remotely with East Coast US–Singapore time zone alignment
