About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois elementary school to recruit two dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming school year. This opportunity is for a self-contained classroom designed to meet the unique learning needs of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. One opening supports 1st and 2nd grade students, while the second serves 3rd through 5th grade learners. The role involves building meaningful relationships, celebrating student growth, and creating engaging learning experiences that encourage academic achievement, communication, and independence. Success in this role comes from creating a structured classroom where every student feels valued and supported. You'll design individualized instruction, implement IEPs, monitor student progress, and collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure students receive comprehensive educational support. Creativity, flexibility, and dedication will help students reach milestones both inside and outside the classroom.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement
